Herbert McCants is a Freshman Author from Mobile, Alabama. At an early age, he developed a love for words through music. His interest in poetry sprang from moving around a lot and always feeling like the odd duck amongst his peers. As time passed his poetry took on a sort of self-medicating, soothing voice of inward calm.

As a man of 6'4" and an athletic build he spent a lot of time doing part-time work as a bouncer, DJ, and Club Manager - turning situations and real-life events into springboards of writing material.

Soon the pull of the nightlife gave way to his need for spiritual growth. As life changed so too has his writing. And now Herbert shares his poems of love and life with you. He's waiting on you at table 3, a cup of Carmel Macchiato Cappuccino in hand.
